Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking such as portioning chopping and storing food
- Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
- Weigh measure and mix ingredients precisely
- Cook food according to recipes quality and presentation standards
- Operate kitchen equipment including ovens stoves grills microwaves and fryers
- Test foods to ensure they are cooked to the appropriate level
- Set up and break down workstation efficiently
- Serve food in correct portions
- Maintain clean and sanitized kitchen area including tables tools knives and equipment
- Monitor temperature of appliances and food regularly
- Follow all company and safety procedures confidently
- Report maintenance needs incidents or unsafe conditions to manager promptly
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and guests
- Build and maintain positive relationships within the team
- Adhere to quality expectations and standards
- Stand sit or walk for extended periods as required
- Move and lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
