Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking such as portioning chopping and storing food
  • Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Weigh measure and mix ingredients precisely
  • Cook food according to recipes quality and presentation standards
  • Operate kitchen equipment including ovens stoves grills microwaves and fryers
  • Test foods to ensure they are cooked to the appropriate level
  • Set up and break down workstation efficiently
  • Serve food in correct portions
  • Maintain clean and sanitized kitchen area including tables tools knives and equipment
  • Monitor temperature of appliances and food regularly
  • Follow all company and safety procedures confidently
  • Report maintenance needs incidents or unsafe conditions to manager promptly
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and guests
  • Build and maintain positive relationships within the team
  • Adhere to quality expectations and standards
