The laundry attendant role at Hilton Garden Inn Corpus Christi is fundamental in maintaining the hotel's standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This position involves performing all stages of linen processing, including collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading, and unloading washers and dryers, as well as folding and delivering linens. The attendant will be expected to operate laundry equipment efficiently and maintain cleanliness in the laundry facility by sweeping, mopping, and organizing linen storage areas. Job Requirements
- experience in a hospitality service consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
- must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- must work well in stressful high-pressure situations
- must be effective at listening to understanding clarifying and resolving concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
- must be able to convey information and ideas clearly

- must be willing to work a varied schedule that may include evenings nights weekends and holidays based upon the demands of the hotel
- arrive and clock in on time for every shift worked and clock out at the scheduled shift ending time unless otherwise directed by your immediate supervisor
- clock in and out for breaks at the designated time on your schedule
- provide sufficient notice as directed by your supervisor when calling out for a scheduled shift
- able to perform the essential functions of the position involving standing walking repetitive motions and lifting laundry supplies linens and other items

Job Duties
- greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- use the guests' names whenever possible ensuring they feel properly welcomed
- work together to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
- handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency
- maintain strong knowledge of all hotel facility features and amenities
- support all groups and events at the hotel
- answer all incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting
- perform all stages of linen processing including collecting transporting sorting weighing loading and unloading of washers dryers and laundry chutes folding storing and delivering linens
- wash and dry all dirty linens towels rags as directed by management
- remove and sort dirty linens and towels from laundry carts
- fold linens towels and stock linen carts as required
- operate washing machines and dryers cleaning dryer filters and maintaining equipment as trained
- sweep and mop laundry floors storing all linens off the floor and keeping laundry carts clean and free of debris
- stock all linen closets throughout the hotel
- replace and replenish cleaning chemicals
