This role is pivotal in supporting the Managers with daily operations during the evening shift and ensuring the smooth functioning of the kitchen area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen management within a high-volume restaurant setting and possess excellent leadership skills to manage a large team effectively. This position demands proficiency in all kitchen operations including food preparation, plating, sanitation, and closing procedures. The evening kitchen supervisor will play a key role in training staff on proper cooking and plating techniques and will lead by example in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and compliance with company policies.\n\nThis full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage of $20.00 to $21.00, requiring a commitment of no less than 40 hours per week. The work schedule includes both day and night shifts, providing flexibility and opportunity for growth within the company. The successful candidate will be expected to commute or relocate to Norfolk, VA.   • Ability to commute to Norfolk, VA 23517
  • Ability to relocate to Norfolk, VA 23517 preferred
  • Must be available to work no less than 40 hours per week

Job Duties

  • Oversee night time kitchen operations of kitchen with 30 employees
  • Must be proficient in all aspects of kitchen- expo, cooking, cleaning, leading by example
  • Train, supervise, and motivate staff
  • Monitor quality of products as needed
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation procedures are followed
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
