Job Description
The Fountains Resort, located in the vibrant city of Orlando, Florida, is a premier destination offering an exceptional vacation experience. Currently, The Fountains Resort is seeking a dynamic and experienced PM Front Office Manager to join the team. This full-time, year-round position plays a critical role in the resort’s daily operations, particularly in managing the front desk of a large-scale hospitality environment. The role requires a passionate leader who can inspire a front office team, ensuring smooth operations, outstanding guest satisfaction, and effective problem resolution. The PM Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing staffing needs, planning work schedules, establishing performance goals, and maintaining a positive team atmosphere. This position is pivotal in upholding the resort’s high standards for guest service and operational efficiency. Working in a resort that operates its front desk seven days a week, including weekends and public holidays, the manager must be adaptable to varying shifts.
The ideal candidate will bring 3 to 5 years of related experience, including at least two years in management or supervisory roles. Prior front desk experience, along with cash handling and computer proficiency, is essential. The manager must demonstrate excellence in service quality that directly impacts guest satisfaction, responding promptly and professionally to owner and guest concerns. This role also requires a positive and outgoing personality with the ability to lead different departments within the front office independently. Job Duties
- Leads the front office team by creating a positive team environment
- Manage day-to-day staffing needs, plan and assign work and establish performance and development goals for team members
- Assist in the daily maintenance of room inventory status
- Oversees and determines the resolution of problems arising from owner/guest concerns with a commitment to satisfying every guest/owner
- Maintains a positive collaborative work environment between staff and management
- May be required to perform other reasonable duties as requested by management
