This opportunity at Drury Hotels offers more than just a job; it provides a place where team members truly belong and can develop their careers. The company values diverse, energetic, and friendly individuals who can contribute positively to the inclusive and hospitable atmosphere for which Drury is known. The role involves managing the hotel's complimentary 5:30 p.m. Kickback "happy hour," ensuring that guests have a memorable experience while also maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and customer service.

Employees enjoy a work-life balance with flexible scheduling, paid time off, and hotel discounts, including free room nights. Health and well-being are prioritized with comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, life insurance, disability benefits, and access to a Team Member Assistance Program. The company also offers a retirement plan with a company-matched 401(k) to help secure employees' futures.

The role itself demands responsibility for overseeing food preparation and clean-up during the 5:30 Kickback, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring that the kitchen and lobby areas are organized and clean. Employees will be ambassadors of the Drury culture, presenting service with integrity and a positive attitude. Effective guest engagement by answering questions about the hotel, local community, and events is an essential part of the position. The company seeks team members who bring warm, friendly communication skills and a can-do spirit to create a welcoming environment for all guests and coworkers.

The company emphasizes career growth through mentorship, cross-training, development plans, and management training, with more than 200 internal promotions last year alone. The role offers an environment where employees are rewarded for their contributions with quarterly bonuses up to $3,200 annually, on top of the base salary.
