Job Description

Community Concierge Services (CCS) is a leading nationwide provider specializing in doorstep waste and recycling collection services. Operating across more than 15 states, CCS employs over 600 dedicated team members who service upwards of 170,000 apartment units every night. CCS has distinguished itself by offering innovative, efficient, and reliable waste management solutions tailored specifically for apartment communities. Their commitment to sustainability and customer satisfaction has positioned them as industry frontrunners, delivering comfortable living environments for thousands of residents.

CCS is actively expanding its team in the Atlanta, GA area, along with surrounding regions including parts of Alabama and Tennessee, offering exciting career opportunities that promise growth and stability. In particular, CCS is seeking District Porters for part-time evening positions that provide flexible schedules, perfect for individuals seeking supplemental income or a side job. The role is centered on driving a company-provided pickup truck to collect bagged trash and recycling directly from residents' doorsteps within assigned apartment communities. This job does not require prior experience, as paid training is provided, and the company truck usage means no wear and tear on personal vehicles.

As a District Porter, you will have a consistent night schedule with shifts typically lasting between 5 to 7 hours, scheduled Sunday through Thursday evenings, and potentially Friday or Saturday depending on market demand. These shifts offer an excellent opportunity for college students, retirees, gig workers, early risers, and anyone needing free daytime hours. District Porters enjoy a competitive flat rate pay of $150 per shift with the added convenience of direct deposit twice a month on the 5th and 20th.

This role also offers advancement potential, with the most reliable and hardworking team members being eligible for additional shifts and promotions. The job requires a valid driver's license with at least five years of clean driving history, a smartphone with an active data plan for route management, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds while working outdoors in various weather conditions. Candidates must be dependable, detail-oriented, and professional with active bank accounts to facilitate direct deposit payments.

CCS emphasizes community and respect, requiring team members to maintain clean and well-kept compactor and trash chute areas and provide friendly, professional service to apartment residents. Responsibilities also include replacing dog station bags and common area waste bags, supporting a clean and comfortable property environment. CCS prides itself on fostering a positive work environment, reliability, and professionalism, making it an excellent choice for those seeking flexible, well-compensated part-time work with clear pathways for career growth in a thriving company.
