The role primarily supports the evening manager reception and is focused on facilitating the famous complimentary 5:30 p.m. Kickback happy hour—a hallmark of Drury Hotels hospitality where guests are welcomed to enjoy food and beverages in a relaxed atmosphere. Employees are expected to maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and customer service, ensuring every guest feels appreciated and well cared for.
Team members will oversee the preparation and presentation of food during the kickback, maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and lobby areas, ensure that food supplies are well stocked, and provide personalized and courteous service to guests. This role also involves answering guest inquiries about hotel accommodations, local community attractions, and ongoing events, thus enhancing the overall guest experience.
Drury Hotels supports team members with flexible scheduling options to promote a healthy work-life balance, paid time off, hotel discounts, free room nights, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, and access to a Team Member Assistance Program. The company also provides career development opportunities such as mentorship, cross-training, and management training, which have contributed to over 200 internal promotions in the last year alone. This ensures that employees not only find a job but also a career path that encourages growth and fulfillment.
The ideal candidate will bring a friendly, energetic personality and a genuine passion for hospitality. Effective communication skills, including the ability to understand and follow written and verbal directions in English, are essential. Those who thrive in a team-oriented environment and possess a willingness to learn and adapt will find a rewarding and supportive workplace at Drury Hotels. This position offers an immediate hiring opportunity and invites candidates looking to work in a lively, guest-focused setting to apply and join a company where they truly belong.
