Evening Custodian

The position available is for a Custodian at the BWI location, offering a set pay rate of $17.95 per hour. The role is part-time with a shift schedule of 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm on Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. Weekend work is mandatory. This custodial role involves performing a broad variety of cleaning and building maintenance duties within public and workspace areas, including executive and command spaces. The custodian will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with agency policies, contract specifications, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, floors, carpets, furniture, glass surfaces, kitchenettes, fitness centers, and childcare areas, among others. The custodian is also required to manage supplies, trash removal, and emergency cleaning, in addition to assisting with special events and inventory tasks. Physical demands are significant, involving standing, walking, lifting, bending, and working in various environmental conditions. Candidates must be able to follow safety protocols and work independently with minimal supervision. The role emphasizes compliance with security procedures at the BWI site, including unescorted access privileges.
