Job Description

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a distinguished leader in senior living, committed to serving the needs of older adults with compassion and excellence. As a fast-growing, family-owned company managing over 60 communities nationwide, RLC provides residents with a beautiful, resort-style environment where they can enjoy quality living supported by dedicated professionals. The company’s core values of Respect, Honesty, Kindness & Compassion, and Service Excellence shape the culture and daily operations, fostering an atmosphere where both employees and residents thrive together. At RLC, the mission transcends typical job roles, emphasizing a servant-hearted approach where team members work closely to ensure residents' happiness, full occupancy of communities, and efficient, on-budget operations.

The 2nd Shift Concierge position at Resort Lifestyle Communities is pivotal in maintaining the welcoming, secure, and supportive environment that residents and their families rely on. As the face of the community during the second shift, this role demands a warm, approachable demeanor and the flexibility to manage a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall success of the community. Serving from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm Thursday through Monday, the 2nd Shift Concierge is entrusted with greeting residents, guests, and families, answering phones promptly, and managing valet services to ensure safe parking. The role is hands-on and dynamic, requiring the concierge to be active, attentive, and ready to assist with anything from emergency response to administrative duties.

Beyond front desk responsibilities, the concierge supports community operations in numerous ways, such as managing transportation scheduling, coordinating guest suite reservations, assisting with room service and dining areas during peak times, and helping with event setups. Safety is a major focus of the role; the concierge monitors building safety systems, responds to emergencies, and helps residents navigate fire or severe weather protocols to provide peace of mind within the community. This position also involves maintaining common area cleanliness, managing office supplies and resident documents, and locking or unlocking exterior doors at specified times to ensure building security.

Ideal candidates for the 2nd Shift Concierge will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, an adaptable and flexible nature, and strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities tailored to a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in customer service, a professional appearance, and knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel) are highly valued. Candidates must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record to safely perform valet parking duties.

The role offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that includes access to pay anytime, a benefit stipend to apply toward health and wellness options, insurance plans (health, dental, vision, life), disability coverage, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, and retirement plans with employer match. Working in this position means becoming part of a family that places a high value on community, service, and making a real difference in the lives of seniors every day. RLC’s supportive leadership and purpose-driven environment make it an ideal workplace for anyone passionate about senior care and community support.
