This role requires an innate passion for hospitality, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to anticipate and fulfill guest needs with discretion and professionalism.
Estate Hosts at Meadowood are tasked with crafting highly personalized itineraries, providing warm welcomes upon arrival, and maintaining consistent and meaningful communication throughout the guest journey. In addition to serving guests, Estate Hosts develop and nurture relationships within the Napa Valley community, including wineries, restaurants, and cultural organizations, enhancing the guest experience through insider knowledge and local connections.
The position demands a high level of organization, attention to detail, and expertise in hospitality systems and concierge itinerary tools. An understanding of wine education and culture is highly desirable, given the resort’s focus on wine and cultural enrichment. Estate Hosts must be adaptable to dynamic schedules, flexible with availability including weekends and holidays, and maintain a polished and professional appearance in alignment with Meadowood’s grooming standards.
Meadowood Napa Valley offers competitive compensation starting between $26 and $29 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications. The position also includes opportunities for service charge distributions and gratuities, contributing to a total compensation package that rewards excellence in service. Employment at Meadowood is on-site, placing staff in a stimulating luxury resort environment where they can engage directly with an esteemed clientele and a collaborative professional team.
