This particular role is for an Assistant General Manager based at Bradley (BDL) Airport in Hartford, CT, offering a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary range between $61,264 and $65,000, dependent on experience. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, with most shifts occurring mid-day and afternoons, and the expectation of open availability to meet business needs effectively.

As Assistant General Manager within one of CAVU's busy and premium airport Escape Lounges, you will play a pivotal role in leading both front-of-house and kitchen teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining operational excellence. This role demands hands-on leadership, a strong focus on service culture, and an ability to foster a positive and inclusive workplace. You will be responsible for managing daily operations, supporting financial performance through diligent cost and inventory controls, recruiting and developing high-performing team members, and ensuring compliance with regulatory, health, safety, and airport-specific requirements.

The environment is fast-paced and high volume, requiring the ability to thrive under pressure while balancing the needs of the guests, the team, and the business. Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in hospitality, restaurant, retail or catering leadership roles
  • proven ability to lead, coach and motivate teams
  • knowledge of food safety, allergen management, and responsible alcohol service
  • experience managing high-volume food and beverage operations
  • ability to recruit, manage employee relations and develop talent
  • excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • proficient with Microsoft Office
  • ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance

Job Qualifications
