This role focuses on facility maintenance within the manufacturing environment at TTM Technologies. The position involves general maintenance and repair of facility equipment and systems, ensuring optimal operational conditions for printed circuit board fabrication. Reporting to higher-level technicians, this role requires proficiency in plumbing, including water, air, and ventilation systems, with the responsibility of performing both reactive and preventive maintenance tasks. The assigned work schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional overtime on weekends for special projects. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining safe, efficient, and cost-effective facility operations, helping to minimize downtime and support production schedules.

Key responsibilities include repairing and installing plumbing lines, aiding in troubleshooting of electro-mechanical equipment, maintaining records and inventory, and suggesting improvements to facility equipment. The role demands a strong knowledge base in plumbing requirements and safety regulations, along with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic industrial setting. Candidates must be team-oriented with good interpersonal skills, capable of effectively communicating with engineers, associates, and vendors to resolve equipment and process issues. The position requires adherence to TTM’s export control policies and compliance with all applicable laws such as ITAR, EAR, and OFAC, particularly when working on restricted products or interacting with foreign personnel. The hourly compensation is up to $35.00, reflecting the candidate's location, skills, and experience. Job Requirements

  • Requires a Journeyman plumbing license
  • Extensive knowledge in water, air, and ventilation pipe runs
  • Ability to establish priorities and manage personal work assignment backlog
  • Troubleshoot and maintain basic electro-mechanical equipment
  • Experience performing reactive and preventive maintenance on a wide variety of facility equipment
  • Ability to work holidays and weekends based on coverage needs
  • Compliance with TTM export control policies and applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC

Job Qualifications

  • Journeyman plumbing license
  • Working knowledge of refrigeration, mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Experience using Microsoft Windows software applications
  • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain basic electro-mechanical equipment
  • Team-oriented with good interpersonal skills
  • Effective communication skills with engineers and associates
  • Willingness to work holidays and weekends based on coverage needs

Job Duties

  • Performs repairs and/or installs of plumbing lines for water, air, or ventilation
  • Performs reactive maintenance on facility equipment while learning to utilize electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical skills and troubleshooting techniques
  • Performs preventive maintenance procedures on facility equipment
  • Helps maintain maintenance records and information on facility equipment
  • Assists with methods of cost-effective installation, monitoring and modification of facility equipment
  • Assists with problem troubleshooting in equipment, process, or materials
  • Interfaces and communicates with internal and external customers as needed to resolve equipment issues
