This particular opportunity is part of the Disney Culinary Program during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, a celebrated annual event showcasing global cuisines and culinary artistry. The program is designed exclusively for former Disney Program participants and provides passionate culinary students an immersive, hands-on experience alongside Disney’s world-class chefs. Participants will engage in preparing and presenting diverse international dishes in festival marketplaces across EPCOT, contributing to memorable dining experiences for guests from around the world. This role offers participants the chance to work both indoors and outdoors in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment, enhancing culinary skills while maintaining the highest standards of safety and food quality.

The program runs from August 3, 2026, to November 19, 2026, with non-negotiable dates due to labor needs. The position is compensated generously, with wages starting at $23.00 per hour for Culinary Cook 2 and $26.10 per hour for Culinary Cook 1 roles. Participants will gain proficiency in various cooking techniques such as hot and cold prep, sauce-making, sautéing, roasting, grilling, and vegetable cookery while developing key allergy awareness and menu planning skills. Besides culinary duties, program participants will be expected to interact with guests, share knowledge about food offerings, and contribute to maintaining clean, organized food stations in compliance with Disney’s safety standards. Additionally, candidates must adhere to Disney Look and Food & Beverage appearance guidelines and commit to the use of personal protective equipment as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Have successfully completed a previous Disney Program at either the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, FL or at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA
  • Be at least 18 years old at application
  • Unrestricted work authorization in the U.S.
  • Be fully available to work Sunday through Saturday, including days and nights, holidays, weekends, and overtime
  • Be open to a starting pay rate of $23.00 per hour
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and performing duties both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Adhere to Disney Look and Food & Beverage appearance guidelines
  • Ability to prepare, cook, taste food for quality/consistency
  • Completed a ServSafe, HACCP, or sanitation course prior to arrival
  • Skilled with knives, familiar with basic cuts
  • Strong communication skills, guest service commitment
  • Willing to use personal protective equipment

Job Qualifications

  • Have successfully completed a previous Disney Program at the Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort
  • Be at least 18 years old at application

  • Completed or currently enrolled in a Culinary Arts program seeking a certificate or degree in the U.S.
  • Completed a ServSafe, HACCP, or sanitation course prior to arrival

  • Willing to use personal protective equipment

Job Duties

  • Prepare and present a diverse array of international cuisines in festival marketplaces across EPCOT
  • Collaborate with culinary teams to deliver high-quality food in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment, outdoor environment
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining food stations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and compliance with Disney safety standards
  • Interact with guests, sharing knowledge about food offerings and festival experiences
  • Support daily kitchen operations, including food prep, cooking, plating, inventory management, and sanitation tasks
  • Adhere to all Disney policies regarding food safety, allergen awareness, and guest service excellence
  • Use personal protective equipment such as cut gloves, eyewear, and ear plugs
