Recognized for its commitment to quality and operational efficiency, the organization fosters a dynamic work environment that encourages collaboration across multiple departments, including Production, Engineering, Material, Quality, and Shipping. This synergy enables the company to maintain its status as a leader in its industry, always striving to meet and exceed customer expectations.
The role of EOC Event Planner within this esteemed company is integral to transforming meticulous planning into outstanding performance. As an EOC Event Planner, the successful candidate will be responsible for orchestrating engine events from inception through to completion while managing schedules, resources, and overall event costs. This position demands a detail-oriented and strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. The planner serves as the critical point of contact among various departments, ensuring seamless communication and coordination across all stakeholders involved in an engine event.
Key responsibilities include clarifying and evaluating the availability of engineering resources, parts, manpower, and tooling to meet event requirements efficiently. The planner calculates both planned and actual hours dedicated to events and communicates estimated costs and turnaround times effectively to relevant teams. Beyond these tasks, the planner will generate work packets from customer purchase orders, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and coordinate necessary travel arrangements for off-site engine events, ensuring all logistical elements are meticulously handled. This role also involves invoice creation and distribution, along with an availability requirement for after-hours on-call support as needed.
EOC Event Planners must possess excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a robust strategic mindset to navigate complex challenges and optimize event outcomes. The position entails working with cross-functional teams to guarantee operational success and customer satisfaction. Additionally, this role offers an opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of event planning processes by providing feedback and collaborating closely with senior leadership, particularly the Director of MES Customer Service and Operational Support.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful work that directly impacts the company's operational success and reputation. Emphasis is placed on managing time-sensitive tasks, handling stress effectively, and adapting quickly to changing priorities. Physical aspects of the role include the ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work under various environmental conditions such as outdoor weather and noise pollution. The company supports its employees through potential relocation assistance and an encompassing benefits package that reinforces work-life balance and long-term career development.
