Job Requirements
- Minimum age of sixteen years
- Ability to remain standing for long periods
- Ability to move throughout the store
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching
- Capability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Compliance with all federal, state, and local legal requirements
- Ability to use standard commercial cleaning supplies and chemicals
- Ability to work in a public retail environment
- Availability to assist with physical duties in various store areas
Job Qualifications
- Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
- Basic cash handling experience is a plus
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative
Job Duties
- Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards
- Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures
- Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures
- Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment
- Deep clean key areas including bathrooms, breakrooms, and entry ways
- Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly
- Notify supervisor of supply needs for replenishment
- Seek out and complete cleaning tasks proactively
- Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor
- Adhere to federal, state, and county guidelines for cleaning
- Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers
- Project a positive image and serve as a role model
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- Execute cash handling to standards
- Engage customers with Rewards program and credit card enrollments
- Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and Ship from Store
- Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and Company policies
