This part-time Store Associate role is integral in ensuring the store environment remains welcoming, safe, and fully stocked to delight customers and support team members. Responsibilities include cleanliness maintenance such as trash disposal, floor dusting and damp mopping, and deep cleaning of critical areas like bathrooms and breakrooms. The role demands adherence to approved cleaning procedures using assigned materials and equipment. Store Associates also play a key role in customer engagement, providing friendly service, assisting with locating products, and supporting various sales programs including Rewards and credit card enrollments. Additional duties often extend to checkout operation, stock replenishment, truck unloading, and supporting omni-channel integration such as Buy Online Pickup In-Store and Ship from Store services.Furthermore, this position requires the ability to perform regular physical activities such as standing for long periods, lifting heavy boxes, handling equipment, and potentially climbing ladders for stock retrieval. The work environment combines a climate-controlled public retail space with some exposure to non-climate-controlled stock rooms and outdoor tasks when handling carts or merchandise unloading.
