The Environmental Technician position at Progressive Care Center plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of the facility. This full-time, day-shift role supports the center's mission by ensuring that all resident rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, offices, and other designated areas are meticulously cleaned and well stocked with necessary supplies. The technician will employ a variety of cleaning tools and equipment, such as 16oz wet mops, wringers, dusters, vacuum cleaners, cleaning chemicals, commercial washers, and dryers, to achieve these standards.

This position requires physical stamina as the job demands the ability to exert varying degrees of force, including occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, frequently up to 20 pounds, and constantly around 10 pounds. The employment schedule is flexible, acknowledging the facility's operational needs, which may include some weekend and evening shifts. An orientation period is provided to familiarize the new hire with the facility's protocols, safety standards, and cleaning procedures.
