The Environmental Technician role is a vital position within our facility, responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This position involves thorough daily cleaning and supplying of various key areas such as resident rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, and administrative offices. The Environmental Technician will utilize a range of cleaning devices and supplies, including 16oz wet mops, wringers, dusters, vacuum cleaners, commercial washers and dryers, cleaning chemicals, and other essential tools necessary to perform their duties efficiently. Work hours for this role may vary according to facility needs and include shifts during evenings and weekends, highlighting the importance of flexibility and reliability. Physical stamina is required for this job, as it demands exerting different levels of force—occasionally up to 50 pounds, frequently 20 pounds, and constantly 10 pounds. New employees will receive thorough orientation training to ensure they are well-prepared to uphold the facility's high standards of cleanliness and resident care.
