Job Requirements
- ability to exert 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently and 10 pounds constantly
- must attend hospital and departmental orientation
- availability to work full-time during evening shift from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm
- ability to use various cleaning devices and chemicals safely
- reliable and punctual work ethic
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- ability to follow detailed instructions
- good physical stamina and strength
- basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe usage
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- use cleaning devices including 16oz wet mops, wringers, dusters, vacuum cleaners, cleaning chemicals and other necessary tools, products and supplies
- exert physical force to perform cleaning tasks safely
- attend hospital and departmental orientation upon hire
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation in designated hospital areas
- follow safety protocols and infection control measures
- support environmental services team in housekeeping operations
- report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors
