About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Environmental Services Associate to join our team at Baptist Health. This role is critical in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, patients, physicians, and visitors. The Environmental Services Associate will be responsible for performing cleaning duties across various settings including public areas, patient rooms, surgical suites, ancillary areas, administrative offices, and physician workspaces. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment that may involve exposure to hazardous materials and infectious diseases. The pay range for this role is estimated to be between $16.00 and $18.94 per hour, depending on experience. Job Duties

  • Perform cleaning of public areas, patient rooms, surgical suites, ancillary, administrative offices, and physician areas to ensure a clean, safe and attractive environment
  • Follow infection control protocols and safety standards
  • Use cleaning agents and equipment properly and safely
  • Respond promptly to cleaning requests and maintain cleanliness throughout shifts
  • Dispose of waste and hazardous materials according to guidelines
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to support operational needs
