What differentiates Baptist Health is its people. The culture is deeply rooted in creating personal connections that transcend the workplace, fostering meaningful relationships with patients, families, and colleagues. Many team members have personal experience as patients themselves, which strengthens their dedication to compassionate, patient-focused care. The organization places a strong emphasis on purpose, teamwork, and the impact they make together in the field of health and wellness.
Regarding opportunities for employment, Baptist Health is committed to nurturing its employees’ careers through a "grow our own" philosophy that encourages professional development and long-term career growth. This commitment is evident in their robust benefits package, designed to support employees both personally and professionally. These benefits include comprehensive health and wellness programs, tuition reimbursement, career growth and development opportunities, and wellness programs that can reduce employees’ out-of-pocket medical costs by helping them eliminate their medical plan deductible.
The available position is for a Cleaning Staff member responsible for ensuring cleanliness and safety across various areas within the healthcare environment, including public areas, patient rooms, surgical suites, ancillary and administrative offices, and physician areas. Maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive environment is vital for patients, staff, physicians, and visitors alike. This role requires working with hazardous materials and managing exposure to infectious diseases, underscoring the importance of strict adherence to safety protocols and attention to detail. The role is structured with shifts of 8 hours a day, on a three-day rotating schedule during the week including weekends. The estimated pay range for this position is $16.00 to $17.84 per hour, depending on experience. This opportunity includes the potential for a sign-on bonus of up to $2,000, making it a compelling choice for candidates interested in joining a reputable healthcare organization with strong community ties and a supportive work culture.
