The Environmental Services Department at Children’s Minnesota is seeking a diligent and dependable Housekeeper to join its team under direct supervision. In this pivotal role, the housekeeper is responsible for performing daily cleaning and maintenance tasks within patient and resident rooms, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, clinic areas, and any additional assigned spaces. The position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that supports the health and wellbeing of patients, families, and staff alike. The schedules and procedures followed in this role are aligned with the department’s established standards and the overall safety protocols of the facility. The housekeeper's responsibilities include thorough cleaning tasks such as sanitizing surfaces, disposing of waste, replenishing supplies, and ensuring high standards of hygiene are met throughout various hospital and clinic zones. This role requires someone who is attentive to detail, flexible in accommodating areas of the hospital covered, and committed to delivering excellent customer service. Successful candidates will typically have at least six months of general housekeeping experience, with a strong emphasis on customer service skills to effectively interact with diverse patient and family populations.
