We are currently seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Worker to join our Invasive Environmental Service team at the University Medical Center of El Paso. This full-time position operates on an evening schedule from 4pm to 12:30am, providing vital support in maintaining a hygienic, orderly, and attractive environment within assigned areas. The role requires strict adherence to proper cleaning techniques and procedures, performing scheduled duties to safeguard the health and safety of our patients, visitors, and staff. As an Environmental Services Worker, you will be responsible for the upkeep of the facility’s cleanliness standards by utilizing effective environmental services methods, ensuring that all areas under your care are immaculate and welcoming.
This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, have a keen eye for detail, and value the importance of sanitation in a medical environment. Prior experience in housekeeping or environmental services is preferred but not mandatory, as on-the-job training will be provided. Candidates must possess the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions in English, particularly regarding safety precautions and cleaning protocols. The role demands physical stamina and a commitment to maintaining consistent quality in all cleaning assignments.
