The Housekeeping team member role at BayCare is crucial to maintaining the cleanliness and safety of healthcare environments, specifically within the BayCare Health System at FSED Lab – Bayfront Regional Medical Center (BRMC) located in Lakeland, FL. This full-time position operates on an afternoon to evening shift, scheduled from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, every other weekend, with no on-call duties. The role is essential in providing a clean and sanitary environment to support patient care and operational efficiency.

In this position, the Housekeeping team member is responsible for performing various cleaning and departmental tasks in both patient and non-patient areas. This includes cleaning occupied and discharged patient rooms, offices, and ancillary areas to ensure they meet stringent health and safety standards. Additionally, the role involves linen distribution to support patient comfort and departmental needs. The team member also manages the maintenance of equipment and supplies, ensuring that all operational materials are properly cared for and readily available. Beyond these duties, the housekeeping staff are expected to complete other assigned tasks that contribute to the smooth functioning of the facility.
