The EVS Technician works under the supervision of the Operating Room Manager and is responsible for maintaining an environment that supports infection control protocols and professional standards. This position not only requires physical stamina due to frequent standing, walking, and lifting but also demands attention to detail and adherence to safety and confidentiality guidelines. The technician will encounter exposure to germicidal agents and anesthesia gases, which necessitates strict compliance with safety measures.\n\nBeyond cleaning duties, the EVS Technician plays a significant role in emergency preparedness by participating in fire, emergency, and disaster drills. They also engage in ongoing professional development activities and adhere to all established OSC policies and procedures, including attending required in-services and educational programs.
