Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1 to 2 years of previous housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- capacity for prolonged standing and walking
- manual dexterity and mobility
- ability to perform tasks involving reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching

Job Duties
- Responsible for overall cleaning using the 7 step procedure
- cleans patient rooms, isolation areas, and discharge cleaning
- handles trash, bio-hazard waste, and sharps containers
- replenishes supplies such as paper, soap, towels, batteries, and hand sanitizers
- performs light maintenance tasks like cleaning light bulb covers and air conditioner vents
- secures environmental services cleaning cart and uses wet floor signs appropriately
- follows standard precautions and all other assigned duties
