As an Environmental Service Specialist at Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley, you play a critical role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $17.00 to $22.71, reflecting the importance of the services provided within the hospital environment. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that procedural areas, including specialized departments such as the Emergency Department and Operating Rooms, are maintained at the highest standards of cleanliness and disinfection. Beyond just cleaning, you are a vital contributor to the overall patient experience, working diligently to support infection control protocols and help create spaces that promote healing and comfort.

Your role also extends to delivering exceptional customer service, engaging with patients, visitors, and team members with professionalism and empathy. You will utilize industry knowledge and specialized cleaning techniques to differentiate between levels of disinfection, performing both low and intermediate disinfection tasks where necessary. Mastery of cleaning equipment and technology is essential, as you will be expected to operate various machines and make effective use of computer and mobile devices to document and communicate your work efficiently.
