The organization prides itself on fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where caregivers feel valued and motivated to contribute their best efforts. As a respected leader in healthcare, Cleveland Clinic not only offers outstanding medical services but also prioritizes the comfort and well-being of patients, visitors, and staff alike.
Joining Cleveland Clinic means becoming part of a family dedicated to excellence in healthcare. The Environmental Services (EVS) Department at Cleveland Clinic is highly regarded for its performance, regularly ranking among the highest performing teams in healthcare facilities. This department plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that supports patient healing and extends well-being beyond clinical care. As part of this outstanding team, caregivers receive comprehensive support and recognition, fostering a rewarding career path within one of the most respected healthcare organizations globally.
The position of Environmental Services Team Lead is an essential role that focuses on ensuring that all assigned facility areas are clean, fully stocked, and well organized. The Team Lead helps maintain a comfortable and safe environment, directly impacting the quality of the Cleveland Clinic experience for patients and staff. This role involves guiding and training new staff, overseeing daily cleaning operations, managing supplies, and enforcing safety protocols such as those related to patient isolation. This position works evening shifts, specifically from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with rotating full weekends and holidays, requiring flexibility and dedication.
An ideal Environmental Services Team Lead at Cleveland Clinic will excel not only in cleaning and organizing but also in leadership and collaboration. The role is physically demanding, requiring full body motion including lifting, bending, stooping, and continuous walking and standing on hard surfaces. The caregiver must also handle disinfectants and cleaning chemicals safely while adhering to personal protective equipment guidelines. This role requires a strong commitment to supporting fellow caregivers and enhancing the overall patient environment.
The pay range for this position is competitive, with hourly wages starting at $18.55 and going up to $24.81, dependent on experience, skills, and education. In addition to competitive pay, Cleveland Clinic offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare, dental, vision, and retirement savings contributions. This role is an excellent opportunity for those who seek to build a meaningful career in healthcare support services, where their contributions make a tangible difference in patient care and institutional success.
