The position of Operations Manager at Crothall Healthcare is integral to the operational leadership and management of the department’s support services. This role carries the responsibility of supervising and coordinating the frontline associates' tasks while acting as a crucial liaison between the administrative team and various unit departments. The Operations Manager drives a high standard of service delivery, ensuring that all operational processes comply with established policies and meet the service requirements of healthcare facilities. This role includes planning work schedules, staffing assignments, and overseeing the functionality of the department to maintain seamless operations. Further, the role involves conducting staff training, managing employment processes such as interviewing and hiring new associates, and nurturing the skills and effectiveness of supervisory and housekeeping staff. The Operations Manager also performs regular inspections, generates monthly reports to monitor progress and future goals, and coordinates with external service providers such as pest control, window cleaning, medical and solid waste management, document destruction, and recycling programs. This multifaceted position demands an individual who possesses strong leadership qualities, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse teams. Job Requirements

  • Four years of support services, military, housekeeping, and/or facilities maintenance experience
  • at least one year of supervisory experience in a support service related field with high customer or client contact
  • ability to communicate effectively in written and oral formats
  • ability to multi-task and establish priorities
  • ability to maintain organization in a changing and stressful environment
  • exhibit initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership
  • possess thorough knowledge of contract administration and office procedures
  • proficient in MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet
  • bachelor’s degree preferred

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Establishes and annually reviews standards and work procedures for all staff
  • plans work and staffing schedules and areas of work to ensure adequate services are rendered
  • assists in the hiring process including interview, hiring and training of new associates
  • orients, develops, and supervises all supervisory and housekeeping staff
  • conducts regular inspections and makes recommendations to the facility
  • conducts monthly reporting of goals, accomplishments, and future plans
  • provides staff education and continuous training
  • communicates with staff, administration, and other departments
  • coordinates outside services such as pest control, window cleaning, medical and solid waste, document destruction, and recycling program
