The role of an EVS Worker at Aramark involves the cleaning and maintenance of assigned areas to ensure customer, client, and patient satisfaction. Employment with Aramark is typically full-time or part-time depending on location and client requirements. The EVS Worker is responsible for adhering to safety procedures aligned with OSHA and other regulatory bodies, performing cleaning and sanitizing tasks efficiently and thoroughly, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of patient or resident rooms. Tasks include vacuuming, dusting, bed making and stripping, removing waste, cleaning restrooms, and handling housekeeping equipment properly. This position requires diligence in following client standards for sanitation and infection control, as well as responsibility in handling trash disposal and reporting maintenance concerns. The EVS Worker must maintain a positive customer service demeanor, be adaptable to customer needs, and ensure facility security by locking/unlocking buildings and safeguarding company assets. This physically demanding job may involve lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing. Use of uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) is required to ensure safety and compliance.
