The Environmental Services Worker Lead position at Aramark Facility Services is a dynamic and integral role designed for experienced individuals who can provide leadership and hands-on cleaning expertise during events. This role demands a proactive approach in managing hourly environmental services staff and ensuring superior cleanliness and sanitation standards are upheld throughout the event. Leading the team means not only directing and supervising but also participating in the work to establish a standard of excellence. The Lead ensures that operations run smoothly from shift sign-in to equipment and supply management, maintaining adherence to strict sanitation procedures.
This role also involves conducting quality assessments of public restrooms and on-call rooms, responding quickly and efficiently to maintenance and cleanliness needs. The Environmental Services Worker Lead is responsible for supervising assignments to guarantee cleaning services are carried out efficiently and to the highest quality. Problem-solving skills are essential, as this role involves identifying discrepancies or inefficiencies and developing corrective action plans to maintain exceptional standards. Supervision also extends to workforce development through training, coaching, and motivation, all designed to enhance team performance and workplace safety.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in environmental services
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work under time constraints
- Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions
- Knowledge of infection control procedures
- Ability to work independently
- Friendly and efficient service attitude
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Assist management and supervisors with sign-in, supplies, equipment sign out and sign in
- Assist shift operation in preparation and delivery of supplies
- Perform assessments of public restrooms and on-call rooms
- Adhere to departmental sanitation procedures
- Report employee issues including safety, injuries, and disciplinary actions
- Supervise staff assignments to ensure efficient, high-quality cleaning services
- Formulate action plans to correct inefficiencies and quality discrepancies
- Assist in employee training, coaching, and motivation
- Maintain accurate record keeping for quality control
- Comply with OSHA and government regulations
- Maintain compliance with Aramark standards and client contracts
- Maintain necessary records and reports for regulatory compliance
