Aramark operates in diverse sectors ranging from food services to facility management, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. The company invests in continuous employee development, making sure that team members grow their talents while contributing meaningfully to their work environment and community.
The Environmental Services Worker Lead position at Aramark Facility Services is a vital leadership role entrusted with overseeing frontline staff in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards during events. This role requires a blend of hands-on cleaning duties alongside supervisory responsibilities to ensure high-quality service delivery. The Environmental Services Worker Lead aids management and supervisors with key operational tasks such as shift sign-ins, equipment management, and supply logistics. The role also demands rigorous adherence to sanitation protocols and compliance with OSHA and other relevant government regulations, ensuring not only cleanliness but also a safe work environment for all employees.
Key aspects of the role include conducting assessments of public restrooms and on-call rooms, which are critical in maintaining facility hygiene standards, and identifying areas where improvements can be made. The lead is responsible for supervising staff assignments, which involves prioritizing tasks, assigning duties based on skill sets, and monitoring performance to uphold quality standards. Additionally, this role is instrumental in employee development, as it involves coaching, training, and motivating team members to meet company expectations and maintain excellent customer service attitudes.
Maintaining accurate records for quality control and compliance is another crucial responsibility of the Environmental Services Worker Lead. The position calls for strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to apply basic math functions and follow detailed instructions effectively. This role is well-suited for individuals who can work efficiently under time constraints, demonstrate common sense understanding, and have at least one to two years of experience in environmental services or a related field.
At Aramark, employees often face dynamic work conditions, requiring flexibility and adaptability as job duties may evolve to meet organizational needs.
