The Electric Vehicle Service (EVS) Worker role at Aramark is a vital position responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas to ensure the satisfaction of customers, clients, and patients. This position adheres strictly to safety standards set by OSHA, state, local and federal regulations, as well as Aramark’s internal policies. The role involves a comprehensive scope of duties such as cleaning and sanitizing patient or resident rooms, including vacuuming, dusting, bed making, stripping linens, and removing both general and hazardous waste. Restroom cleaning is also a critical responsibility, following infection control procedures rigorously to maintain high hygiene standards.

In addition to cleaning tasks, the EVS Worker is accountable for the proper maintenance and cleaning of housekeeping equipment to ensure it remains in good working order. Accuracy in cleaning according to Aramark and client specifications is essential, including responsible trash collection and disposal, and secure transportation of waste to designated areas. The EVS Worker also identifies and reports maintenance issues through work order requests to the appropriate personnel, helping to maintain a safe and well-functioning environment.

A key aspect of this role includes providing exceptional customer service by maintaining a friendly, efficient, and positive demeanor towards customers, clients, patients, and coworkers. The ability to adapt to the varying needs of customers is crucial. Security responsibilities are also part of the job, such as securing the facility by locking and unlocking the building as required and ensuring the security of company assets. The EVS Worker role may involve additional tasks as assigned by the manager to meet dynamic business needs.

This position may include physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing. Use of uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) is required to maintain safety standards.
