Aramark is currently seeking an Environmental Services Manager to join their team at Boulder Community Health located in Boulder, Colorado. The Environmental Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance operations of the healthcare facility, focusing on sanitation, safety, and client satisfaction. The successful candidate will lead a team of custodial and environmental services staff, developing and implementing strategies to optimize productivity while maintaining high standards. A key part of the role involves financial management including budgeting, labor cost control, supply and inventory oversight, and ensuring achievement of financial targets.
In addition to operational leadership, this role requires fostering strong client relationships by understanding customer needs, delivering exceptional service, and supporting retention and business development initiatives. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years custodial, housekeeping, or environmental services experience
- preferred healthcare environmental services experience
- supervisory or management experience or demonstrated leadership ability
- ability to model leadership behaviors in safety, quality, and service
- comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite
- ability to work evening shifts
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- capability to manage budgets and financial performance
- knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations
- physical ability to perform facility inspections and management tasks
Job Qualifications
- bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in custodial, housekeeping, or environmental services
- healthcare environmental services experience preferred
- 1-3 years supervisory or management experience or demonstrated leadership of frontline teams
- preferred experience with floor care and ability to coach proper techniques
- bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience
- demonstrated leadership behaviors ensuring safety, quality, and service excellence
- proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and workplace technologies
Job Duties
- Own and manage operational and financial performance of the environmental services unit
- coach employees to achieve team goals and foster a shared understanding of objectives

- develop facility programs related to custodial, energy, grounds, or maintenance to meet client specifications

- ensure timely completion and accuracy of financial statements
- meet or exceed company financial targets
- adopt company processes and systems to eliminate manual reporting and improve efficiency
- analyze performance metrics and educate team members on factors affecting profit margins
- implement and maintain management agendas focused on labor and quality control
- drive cost-effective operations with attention to sustainability and energy reduction
- maintain high standards of operational excellence and labor productivity
- embrace workforce safety and service quality as a top priority
