We are currently seeking a Hospitality-Focused Custodian to join our team at Marquette Senior Living. This full-time position offers a day shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with every other weekend required. The pay range is between $17.00 and $20.00 per hour, reflecting our commitment to offering competitive compensation. In this role, you will play an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our senior living community. Your responsibilities will include performing floor care services such as carpet and hard floor maintenance, which requires prior floor care experience. You will also handle the collection and safe disposal of large trash items, maintain cleaning equipment to ensure it remains in safe working condition, and complete additional cleaning tasks as required by your supervisor.

The ideal candidate is someone who values attention to detail and takes pride in creating a clean, inviting, and hygienic environment. This role demands moderate to heavy physical labor, including lifting and standing or walking for extended periods, so physical stamina is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English are necessary to succeed in this position. Upon hire, candidates must be able to pass background screenings, physical examinations, drug tests, and TB skin tests, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and residents.
