The role offered at AdventHealth is a full-time position based in Orange City, Florida, located at 1055 Saxon Blvd. This position operates primarily on the second shift, from 3 pm to 11:30 pm, including rotating weekends. As an essential part of the Environmental Services team, the successful candidate will be responsible for daily cleaning and sanitizing of patient and public areas within the facility, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Key tasks include the removal of trash, restocking supplies such as paper items and cleaning solutions, and maintaining knowledge of infection control and isolation procedures. The role requires proficiency in using cleaning equipment and bed management systems for efficient workflow. In addition to routine housekeeping duties, the position also involves proper disposal of biohazardous waste, handling soiled linen, and documenting all work performed to maintain compliance with health standards.
