Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
Ability to work part-time up to 24 hours per week including every other weekend
Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and handle equipment
Willingness to comply with facility policies and procedures
Capable of following infection control and safety protocols
Demonstrated professional communication skills

Job Qualifications

Knowledge of or ability to learn position procedures, techniques, and equipment
Ability to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, residents' families, and employees
Capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

Perform day-to-day housekeeping of common areas and resident rooms
Ensure work areas are clean and equipped with necessary tools
Maintain cleanliness standards according to healthcare facility guidelines
Assist with the safe handling and use of cleaning equipment and supplies
Collaborate professionally with residents, families, and staff members
Report maintenance or safety issues as they arise
Adhere to infection control protocols and safety procedures
