The Environmental Services Assistant role at Salem Health is a part-time position based at Salem Hospital, located at 890 Oak Street SE, Salem, Oregon. The position involves working 24 hours per week on a rotating two-week schedule that includes shifts on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. This non-exempt role primarily supports the hospital's mission by maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility. The assistant works collaboratively with supervisors and team members, maintaining open and effective communication about any deviations or incomplete tasks to guarantee continuous support and safety. This role demands professionalism, adherence to strict safety protocols, and a commitment to teamwork in alignment with Salem Health's mission, vision, and goals.

Salem Health values prior experience, preferring candidates with at least six months of environmental services experience or one year of customer service experience to ensure successful performance in this essential role.
