Job Requirements
- Ability to treat each patient, visitor, and employee in a courteous and compassionate manner
- Ability to read written instructions and comprehend verbal instructions
- Ability to receive and understand directions
- Ability to adjust to changing conditions and varied workloads
- Customer service training or environmental services experience in hotel, recreation, or healthcare housekeeping industry preferred
- High school diploma or GED not required

Job Duties
- Clean patient care, public, clinical, and office areas using chemicals and manual/electrical floor care equipment
- Perform wall cleaning, stairwell and elevator cleaning, curtain removal and re-hanging
- Respond to service calls
- Conduct restorative floor care
- Operate basic functions of a pager and phone system
- Complete room turnover including daily and check-out cleaning
- Retrieve and transport beds to various hospital areas
