A critical component of the job is room turnover, encompassing daily cleaning and checkout procedures to ensure patient rooms are safe and welcoming. Additionally, employees are tasked with retrieving and transporting hospital beds across various departments as needed.

Job Duties

  • Clean patient care, public, clinical, and office areas using chemicals and manual/electrical floor care equipment
  • Perform wall cleaning, stairwell and elevator cleaning, curtain removal and re-hanging
  • Respond to service calls
  • Conduct restorative floor care
  • Operate basic functions of a pager and phone system
  • Complete room turnover including daily and check-out cleaning
  • Retrieve and transport beds to various hospital areas
