The Environmental Services Aide (Housekeeping) role at PIH Health plays a crucial part in maintaining a safe, clean, and inviting environment for patients, healthcare staff, and visitors at all times. This position supports the hospital’s mission of delivering quality care by ensuring that all areas within the facilities meet high standards of cleanliness and safety. Environmental Services Aides carry out essential cleaning and housekeeping duties throughout the hospital, focusing on infection control, sanitation, and compliance with health regulations. Additionally, they handle the operation and maintenance of cleaning equipment, manage chemical usage safely based on label instructions, and complete daily reports to document their work. The role is essential for promoting patient safety, reducing risk of infections, and enhancing overall patient and visitor experience.
