Job Duties

  • Clean and disinfect patient rooms bathrooms furniture and other facility areas in a timely manner
  • Deliver linen and remove trash from assigned areas
  • Sweep and mop patient rooms
  • Maintain adequate stock of materials supplies and chemicals on cleaning cart and in janitors closet
  • Consistently perform daily floor care procedures
  • Ensure equipment is kept clean and polished including carts tanks and buckets emptied and rinsed at shift end
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned according to hospital policies and procedures
  • Adhere to HMH organizational competencies and standards of behavior
