With 80 beds, this facility specializes in providing an extended period of medically complex care, designed to support patients through a longer recovery process than typically found in traditional hospitals. The hospital partners closely with your personal physician to deliver 24-hour clinical care every day of the week, ensuring that all patients receive continuous monitoring and treatment as they make significant progress on their journey to wellness. The location of this hospital is exceptionally convenient, surrounded by a variety of shops and restaurants, making it an accessible and comfortable place for both patients and their families. As part of ScionHealth, Kindred Hospital Seattle offers a supportive and engaging environment where employees can grow professionally while contributing meaningfully to patient care and safety. The hospital is committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment, essential for the health and well-being of patients, visitors, and staff alike.

The available role at Kindred Hospital Seattle is for an Environmental Services Worker. This position plays a critical part in maintaining the overall sanitation and appearance of the facility’s interior spaces. The responsibilities include cleaning and servicing various areas of the hospital, moving furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed, and performing a range of environmental services tasks to ensure that the hospital remains neat, sanitary, and safe. The Environmental Services Worker selects appropriate cleaning materials and prepares cleaning solutions to effectively address the hospital's hygiene needs. Tasks include sweeping, mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, and spot cleaning with appropriate solutions. The role also involves meticulous cleaning of restrooms, shower areas, patient rooms, and public spaces, including the replenishment of essential supplies. Additionally, this worker collects and removes trash, sanitizes garbage cans, and manages compactor areas, sometimes handling hazardous waste collection under strict protocols. Other duties might include arranging furniture for meetings and returning unused supplies to storage, ensuring orderly supply management. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $20.76 to $22.78 and includes a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, and wellness programs.
