The Environmental Project Manager role at Onterris is a pivotal position based in a Southeastern U.S. remote location. The role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and geographic factors. As an Environmental Project Manager, you will take full ownership of various environmental compliance projects such as Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure Plans; Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans; Hazardous Waste Stream Determinations; Solid Waste and Hazardous Waste Management Plans; and Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act Reports. This role demands a leader who can effectively manage project risks, oversee internal team performance, and ensure client satisfaction while meeting profitability goals.

Your responsibilities will encompass estimating personnel needs, assigning work tasks, meeting project deadlines, and ensuring adherence to company standards. You will coordinate the daily operations of technical staff, providing necessary guidance and monitoring progress to maintain accuracy and quality. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science biology chemistry geology engineering or environmental studies
  • 10 plus years of related experience including internships or scientific field experience
  • Proficiency with computer aided software including Microsoft Office Suite AutoCAD ArcGIS
  • Knowledge of environmental compliance or engineering principles
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and management skills
  • Ability to analyze problems collect data and draw conclusions
