Job Requirements
- high school degree or equivalency or 10 years of housekeeping experience in hospitals, nursing homes, medical clinics, or educational institutions in lieu of education
- one year of experience in housekeeping duties preferably in a hospital or other institutional setting
- knowledge of sanitation and disinfection processes and techniques
- ability to use equipment such as vacuum cleaner, steamer, trash compactor, carpet extractor, buffer, and burnisher machine
- knowledge of waste disposal and recycling procedure
- knowledge of safe and appropriate hazardous/chemical material handling procedures
- knowledge of universal precautions and safety and infection control in housekeeping services
Job Qualifications
