Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Experience in environmental services preferred
- Ability to perform medium physical work including walking, standing, lifting 20-50 pounds
- Ability to grasp, speak, hear, and visually assess
- Capability to perform physical activities such as kneeling, balancing, crouching, twisting, and climbing stairs
- Availability to work variable schedules including weekends
- Commitment to safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- General experience in environmental services
- Preferred experience in healthcare environmental services
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning and safety procedures
- Physical capability to perform medium work including lifting and prolonged standing
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail and reliability
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms, common areas, and hospital facilities
- Follow hospital infection control and sanitation protocols
- Dispose of waste materials safely and according to policy
- Restock supplies and ensure housekeeping carts are adequately prepared
- Report any maintenance or safety hazards to appropriate personnel
