- Basic sushi preparation knowledge
- Ability to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills
- Ability to work multiple stations
- Desire to satisfy needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- California Food Handlers Certification required
- Flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Prepare sushi and related menu items following established recipes and hygiene standards
- Assist in the preparation of soups, sauces, and stocks
- Operate various cooking stations including frying and broiling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen work area
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Adhere to food safety regulations including California Food Handlers Certification
- Demonstrate flexibility with work schedules including weekends and holidays
