This non-management, full-time Food and Beverage Culinary position offers a competitive hourly wage of $20.71 and demands a flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays. The role invites passionate culinary associates to join a dynamic team and take advantage of unique opportunities to further their culinary careers through online training in partnership with Rouxbe Culinary School. This training platform provides access to hundreds of well-designed and visually engaging lessons that culinary associates, regardless of experience level, can apply directly to their daily work.
The position focuses on maintaining The Ritz-Carlton's "Gold Standards" which are the foundation of the brand's exceptional service culture. These standards encompass the employee promise, credo, and service values that guide every team member to excel in their roles. Duties include preparing fresh ingredients according to recipes and menus, cooking high-quality food items in a timely manner, checking food quality and temperature, utilizing kitchen equipment safely and responsibly, and ensuring cleanliness and hygiene of cooking surfaces and storage containers.
Associates in this culinary position will collaborate with a dedicated team of culinary professionals and learn through hands-on experience with seasonal menus and unique presentations. This role not only fosters growth and creative expression but also contributes meaningfully to guest satisfaction by helping prepare dishes that thrill guests and encourage repeat visits. To succeed in this role, associates must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds, stand or walk for extended periods, and present themselves professionally in a clean uniform. Before employment, candidates must complete safety training and certification.
