Known for its commitment to excellence and innovation, DigiStream specializes in uncovering crucial evidence for cases involving fraudulent Worker’s Compensation and Liability claims. With a strong presence in the Greater Seattle-Tacoma region and beyond, DigiStream stands out by combining professionalism with a hands-on approach developed over 25 years, ensuring thorough and reliable results for its clients. The company prides itself on maintaining high standards, investing in advanced technology and equipment, and fostering a supportive work environment that promotes career growth and advancement.
The position available is a full-time Private Investigator role based in the state of Washington, offering a unique and exciting career path far from the typical desk job. This role is designed for individuals with an adventurous and curious spirit who thrive in autonomous work environments that combine travel, active fieldwork, and meaningful purpose. As a Private Investigator at DigiStream Investigations, you will play an essential role in conducting covert operations and surveillance to gather evidence necessary for defending cases involving potential fraud. The job involves a variety of activities, such as monitoring and videotaping subjects involved in Workers’ Comp and Liability claims, crafting strategic surveillance plans, following subjects by vehicle or on foot, and compiling detailed reports and video evidence.
Working full-time with an average of 40-55 hours per week, including a schedule that may require early morning starts and occasional evenings, investigators are compensated with a starting hourly pay rate of $21, along with frequent opportunities for overtime. The company recognizes the hard work involved by paying for commuting time during company vehicle travel and providing all necessary equipment such as surveillance vehicles, video cameras, laptops, tripods, and maintenance cards. Employees benefit from a comprehensive compensation package, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance options, a 401(k) retirement plan with up to 4% company match, and additional perks like cell phone reimbursement and paid travel to assignments. There is also a structured Investigator Promotion Track for career advancement within the firm.
The role promises a day filled with varied and engaging activities that can range from filming someone at a grocery store to capturing footage at a sports event while maintaining cover and adapting plans as necessary. This opportunity is ideal for those seeking a career that challenges their investigative skills, offers growth, and leads to potential future roles in prestigious fields such as FBI, law enforcement, legal assistance, corporate investigations, or investigative journalism. Candidates must live in Washington state and be prepared for the physical and logistical demands of the job, including travel and overnight stays as required. Overall, DigiStream Investigations offers a rewarding, well-compensated career path for dedicated individuals looking to make a real impact in the investigative field.
