Job Description

DigiStream Investigations is a distinguished and rapidly expanding national private investigation firm known for its dedicated services in uncovering and validating information critical to legal cases, particularly those involving potential fraud in Worker’s Compensation and Liability claims. Operating primarily in the Greater Seattle-Tacoma region, DigiStream prides itself on a culture that supports autonomy, mobility, and purpose, making it an ideal career destination for individuals seeking a dynamic and engaging professional experience. As a growth-focused company in the security and investigative sector, DigiStream leverages over 25 years of industry expertise to provide comprehensive training, cutting-edge equipment, and a supportive work environment that fosters career advancement. Employment at DigiStream is full-time, offering an initial hourly wage of $21.00 for entry-level investigators with frequent overtime opportunities, which positions associate investigators in an earnings range of $55,000 to $65,000 per year due to paid commute time. In addition to competitive compensation, the firm offers an attractive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan with a 4% company match. Employees are also provided with late-model company vehicles equipped with surveillance equipment, fuel, and maintenance cards, ensuring they can conduct investigations efficiently and comfortably. This role is not a traditional desk job; it requires a proactive, adventurous spirit with a willingness to travel, often overnight, and work nonstandard hours to meet the needs of diverse cases. Investigators at DigiStream engage in a wide variety of activities such as covert surveillance, video documentation, detailed report preparation, and strategic planning for investigative operations, making each workday unique and stimulating. The position demands availability seven days a week, including weekends and holidays, and readiness to start early mornings as well as work into the evenings as necessary. As part of the job, commute times in the company vehicle are considered paid work hours, reflecting the company’s commitment to fair compensation and employee satisfaction.

Joining DigiStream Investigations means becoming part of a professional team that values growth and skill development with opportunities for promotion through a structured Investigator Promotion Track. Team members benefit from professional training developed over decades of industry practice, quarterly team-building events, and a supportive environment that encourages comradery. Career progression can open doors to various fields including law enforcement, legal professions, corporate investigations, and investigative journalism. This comprehensive role suits individuals who are confident drivers, can pass a background and DMV check, and are legally eligible to work in Washington state, with no prior private investigator license required. DigiStream’s unique offering of paid travel, company-provided equipment, and comprehensive benefits makes this a truly exceptional opportunity for those looking to embark on or advance their investigative careers within a reputable and forward-looking organization.
