Job Requirements

- Interested in fundraising for a great cause
- Value public media and community outreach
- Ability to walk for 5+ hours outside every day
- No experience required
- Ability to work a 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM schedule
Job Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage people with enthusiasm and respect
- Interest in fundraising and community outreach
- Comfortable working outdoors for several hours
- No previous canvassing experience required
- Willingness to learn through provided training
- Ability to work the specified schedule consistently
Job Duties
- Engage with community members to promote Nebraska Public Media and PBS programming
- Conduct face-to-face outreach and fundraising conversations
- Encourage individuals to support public media through donations
- Attend paid training sessions to develop canvassing skills
- Walk outdoors for extended periods while canvassing neighborhoods
- Work a scheduled shift from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- Report progress and feedback to the Donor Development Strategies team
