Job Description

Webco is a leading manufacturer specializing in precision tube manufacturing, serving a wide range of industries including oil and gas, construction, automotive, and plumbing. Established with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, Webco has built a reputation for producing high-grade tubing products that adhere to the strictest standards. As a manufacturing company, Webco emphasizes operational excellence, safety, and innovation in its processes. The company's facility features a state-of-the-art production environment where various sophisticated machines operate to form, cut, finish, and inspect tubing products, ensuring they meet the demanding specifications of the customers.

The role of Production Entry within Webco is a dynamic and critical position that encompasses several job titles such as Material Handler, Furnace Outlet/Inlet Operator, Cut Off Operator, Mill Operator, End Welder, Slitter Operator, Recoiler Operator, Straightener Operator, Auto Saw Operator, Packer/Chamfer, Bander, Deburrer, Water Truck Driver, Inspector, Pointer Operator, Draw Bench Operator, Fork Truck Driver, Maintenance Technician, and Machinists. This role requires hands-on operation and coordination in the manufacturing process, from material handling, equipment setup, the operation of heavy machinery including overhead cranes and tube-forming mills, to quality control and shipping preparation.

Employees in the Production Entry role are responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials through various production stages. This involves loading and unloading materials, processing tubing through machines, conducting daily operational and safety checklists, and communicating with team members to coordinate production runs and priorities. The work environment is physically demanding and requires employees to perform repetitive and strenuous tasks including lifting, bending, and walking long distances, often in high temperatures ranging from 95°F to 110°F during summer months. Workers must adhere strictly to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment like noise protection, safety glasses, and steel-toed shoes.

The Production Entry position is ideal for individuals who possess a strong work ethic, can operate multiple types of machinery, and are attentive to quality and safety standards. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, but the company also values candidates who demonstrate the willingness to learn and work efficiently in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure manufacturing environment. Regular attendance, punctuality, and effective communication with supervisors and co-workers are vital for success in this role.

At Webco, the company culture is diverse and inclusive, reflecting a commitment to equal opportunity employment. Employees are encouraged to thrive professionally within a supportive and structured workplace that values reliability and dedication. By joining Webco as a Production Entry operator, candidates become part of a well-established company that invests in its workforce and strives for operational excellence while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
